Clear Creek starts its steep descent of the Rocky Mountains at the nearby Continental Divide. With a gradient that averages some 67 feet per mile Clear Creek has more rapids in its relatively short length than many other rivers in Colorado. Located near Idaho Springs, Colorado, just a few minutes from Geo’s Morrison base, Clear Creek is the closest “true” whitewater rafting to Denver. Also just a short drive from many Summit County resorts. Bodacious FUN and you don’t have to commit an entire day. Geo offers Part-Day and Full-Day (upon request) raft trips with a section to suit everyone from the Beginner to the Advanced rafter.
Mountain Lion CLASS I – III – This section of Clear Creek is perfect for first time paddlers. The action picks up with Castle Falls rapid, Subway and the Argo Holes and continues through the finale at Twister Rapid. All trips on Clear Creek include helmets.
Part-day trip. AM (8:00 & 10:00) and PM (Noon & 2:00)

Outer Limits CLASS IV- The Outer Limits trip adds some serious Class IV whitewater onto the Mountain Lion stretch when you take on the Phoenix Holes and the awesome Outer Limits Rapid. Prior paddling experience, good swimming ability and wetsuits are required. All trips on Clear Creek include helmets.

Terminator CLASS IV+ – On the Terminator section you’ll challenge the Lower Canyon of Clear Creek after warming-up on the “easy” section. The Lower Canyon features Class IV rapids such as Ejector, Double Knife and Terminator and a non-stop pace. Prior paddling experience, good swimming ability and wetsuits are required. All trips on Clear Creek include helmets.

Double Down CLASS IV+ – Run the Mountian Lion section in the morning and then following a riverside lunch you will raft the Outer Limits section through to Twister rapid. Available upon request, 4 guest minimum. All trips on Clear Creek include helmets.

Reservations and Deposits - Reservations are required. An advance deposit of 50% is required when making reservations. Cancellations made 8 days or more prior to departure are subject to applicable credit card fees and handling fees. No Shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of departure receive no refund.
