Arkansas River

The Upper Arkansas River Valley is nestled at the base of over a dozen 14,000+ ft. mountain peaks. Here the Arkansas River, with its swift water, has cut scenic canyons into the bedrock creating some of the best whitewater rafting in Colorado. Geo Tours has been running raft trips on the Arkansas River since the early 1980’s and maintains an excellent safety record. All raft trips launch in or near Buena Vista, Colorado, though guests can select the option of transport with Geo Tours from the Denver Area. “We’ll do the driving!” Geo has a standard lineup of One-Day, Overnight and Two-Day expeditions on this way cool river.

Brown's Canyon - This run is a whitewater classic with rapids such as Zoom Flume, Pinball, Staircase, Widow Maker and Raft Ripper and one of Geo's most popular trips.
