The Colorado River has its origins in the high mountains of Colorado. Geo Tours has raft and inflatable kayak trips over nearly 70 continuous miles as the Colorado River cuts a path through the Gore Mountain Range at the beginning of its long trip to the Pacific Ocean. There are natural hot springs, historic cabins, swimming, hiking and beautiful scenery. The river is ideal for first time participants, families and groups of all ages and abilities. The Upper Colorado River is easily accessible from many resorts including: Breckenridge, Vail and Winterpark or guests can select the convenient option of transport with Geo Tours from the Denver Area. “We’ll do the driving!” Geo has a standard lineup of One-Day, Overnight, Two-Day, Three-Day, Four-day and Five-Day expeditions. CLASS I - III
One-Day Trip - This trip begins at the Pumphouse and continues downstream through Little Gore and Red Gore canyons. A great mixture of moderate rapids, such as: Needles Eye and Yarmony and gentle water. Other sections further downstream can be rafted as a one-day trip, these trips offer less congestion than the Pumphouse run.
